SURO HTRO-8040
The special fouling resistant membrane and element production process used in this model allows the element to withstand temperatures of up to 60°C. The active area of SURO HTRO-8040 membrane is up to 400 square feet with 34 mil feed spacer, which saves on the number of elements applied as well as energy consumption. Elements are equipped with normal ATDs and seals to avoid external bypassing to achieve higher salt rejection rates. All designed for lower TDS permeate water while saving on both OPEX and CAPEX.

2.Important Operation Information
1) Installation
● Please ensure that installing the membrane elements in corresponding pressure vessels. There is a concentrated water sealing ring on the water inlet side of the membrane element, and its V-shaped groove is facing opposite to the water inlet direction. Rough installation and disassembly are not allowed.
2) Initial operation after installation
● Please confirm that all advance treatment steps have been debugged to prevent unqualified water from entering the membrane system.
● The feed water pressure should rise gradually within 30-60 seconds, otherwise it may cause irreversible damage to the membrane element.
● The system installed with wet membrane elements shall close the membrane water production discharge valve after 30 minutes of flushing.
● The system installed with dry film elements shall be continuously flushed for 1 hour, and the system performance can be basically stable after 24-48 hours of initial operation.
● Please measure the conductance of produced water and analyze the water quality after the system operates continuously for 24 hours. Once detecting that the produced water is qualified, please record the initial operation data, open the produced water delivery valve and close the produced water discharge valve to supply water to subsequent equipment or introduce the produced water.
3) Protection after membrane system shutdown
● The membrane system shall be washed every 5 days after it stops running for 15-30 days.
● If the membrane system stops running for more than 30 days, it is necessary to configure bactericide (1% NaHSO3) for circulating flushing and fill in full of the membrane system.
●Please replace the bactericide once every 30 days.
4) Storage of membrane elements
● The element shall be stored indoors at 5-35 ℃ in a dry and ventilated place without direct sunlight.
● It is recommended that wet membrane elements be used within 3 months from the date of delivery, and dry membrane elements be used within 1 year from the date of delivery.
● It is forbidden to add any chemical agent that has an impact on the membrane element during storage and operation.
● The wet elements applied for testing must be stored in a standard protective solution containing 1% food grade NaHSO3 (10% PROPYLENE GLYCOL antifreeze must be added if the temperature is lower than 0 ℃) to prevent microorganism growth or getting frozen during storage and transportation.
